Welcome to the "Rock Boogie Riff" lesson. This lesson builds directly off of the "
Rock Boogie Rhythm" lesson. Here we look at a take on a Lynyrd Skynyrd-inspired rock-n-roll riff that fits nicely over a rock boogie. We explore music theory and finger pressure technique in the left hand and right hand techniques like down strokes and palm muting. Tone-wise I am using the bridge pickup on my tele to help the sound cut. I am using a simulated Fender amp with a TubeScreamer style pedal and a little spring reverb from the amp.
